Its frescoed and stuccoed vaults are the work of well-known authors of the time such as Fedele Fischetti, Francesco Fuga, Mario Gioffredo and the Desiderio brothers. The most representative room is certainly the Mirror Gallery, from whose balcony on 7 September 1860 Giuseppe Garibaldi looked out to announce the annexation of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies to Italy. Palazzo has been the subject of important restoration works, giving new light to the ancient splendors, which had been abandoned for several years.
