Dating back to the late eighteenth century, Palazzo is located in the historic and pulsating heart of Naples. Steeped in history, charm and anecdotes, its frescoed rooms and expertly selected furnishings will take guests on a journey through time. Strongly desired by the Prince of Angri, Marcantonio Doria, the building is an architectural masterpiece, the result of the genius of Luigi Vanvitelli , author of the original project that gave this palace majesty and elegance. Its frescoed and stuccoed vaults are the work of well-known authors of the time such as Fedele Fischetti, Francesco Fuga, Mario Gioffredo and the Desiderio brothers. The most representative room is certainly the Mirror Gallery, from whose balcony on 7 September 1860 Giuseppe Garibaldi looked out to announce the annexation of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies to Italy. Palazzo has been the subject of important restoration works, giving new light to the ancient splendors, which had been abandoned for several years. Now with its 6 bedrooms and a series of rooms all expertly furnished, it will take its guests on a journey into the past. With an area of 1150 square meters, it houses a series of prestigious rooms full of frescoes, tapestries, stuccos and precious tapestries, as well as 6 sumptuous bedrooms; all inevitably leads back to the majestic Gallery of mirrors, an exemplary neoclassical creation in Naples.Guests also have access to the panoramic terrace on the top floor of the building, easily accessible by lift. The Gallery of mirrors is the most representative room of the building with its 11 meters of height it is the ideal setting for a fairytale dinner. Designed by Luigi Vanvitelli with the express purpose of disorienting the guest thanks to the play of mirrors that reflect the vault frescoed by Fedele Fischetti and illuminated by large blown glass chandeliers, it overlooks the balcony with a monumental window over 7 meters high. ‘honor.
